Every patient understood, on the phone or in the room.
On your phones or across the desk. Pause AI for consent. A SOAP when it ends. Your interpreters when the stakes rise. We never open the EHR.
Listening
What a healthcare session includes
In-person, same room
Place the staff device between you. Both sides speak naturally. Interpretation plays from the speaker, live, both directions, no turn-taking. No patient phone, no extra tablet.
Pause AI
One tap stops interpretation when you need a moment. A private aside, a consent conversation, or a moment to think. Resume when you're ready.
Clinical SOAP draft
Every interpreted visit produces a structured S/O/A/P draft the clinician reviews, edits, and pastes into the chart. We never read or write your EHR.
Cultural clinical notes
Idioms and culturally specific expressions are surfaced as a linguistic aid, explicitly not a clinical finding. The clinician keeps full judgment.
Patient-friendly summary
Alongside the clinical note, generate an after-visit summary in the patient's language for staff-approved follow-up.
Your interpreters, one tap away
When consent, complexity, or a patient request needs a qualified human, bring in the interpreters you already use. The session stays. Veyatia does not staff a language line.
What language access has been associated with in the ED.
Published research on patients with limited English proficiency has associated professional language access with fewer walkouts and shorter stays. These figures are not Veyatia outcomes.

Questions teams ask
Is this over-the-phone interpreting (OPI)?
Yes. On the phone your clinic already uses. Staff start from the dialer. The other person answers their own phone. There is no second vendor number and no patient app.
Can we use it in the exam room?
Yes. The staff laptop interprets both directions from its speaker. No patient app, no cart, no new hardware.
Is Veyatia HIPAA-aligned? Can we get a BAA?
Healthcare sessions capture HIPAA consent at start. A business associate agreement is available. Live audio is interpreted in the moment and is not kept as a recording.
Do you provide qualified or certified medical interpreters?
No. Veyatia is software. We do not staff a language-line bench. When consent, clinical complexity, or a patient request needs a qualified human, you bring in your own interpreters, in-house or your existing vendor, without dropping the session.
When should we not use AI interpreting?
Use your own qualified interpreters for high-stakes moments: informed consent, behavioral health, emergencies, and anything your policy requires a human for. Pause AI, then bring them in on the same session.
How many languages do you support?
Live voice today in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, French, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Arabic. 9 languages we can deliver on the phone and in the room. We add a language when the path is ready.
