We started with the moment a patient isn't understood.
Veyatia exists because too many people receive care, guidance, and service in a language they barely follow — and because the person who ends up interpreting is often a child.
Mwen gen doulè.
I have pain.

Jean Paul Paulynice
Jean Paul was a teacher — pulled from his own classroom to interpret for Haitian families, carrying words between them and the institutions around them in moments no one should have to navigate alone.
Later he stood in an emergency room beside his father, once again the bridge between a clinician and someone he loved — translating his father's chest-pain triage himself. The stakes were no longer a permission slip; they were medical. That's the moment Veyatia is built for.
He founded Veyatia to make sure no family has to depend on a nervous child, a delayed vendor line, or a general model that gets Haitian Creole wrong a third of the time.
Language should never decide the quality of your care.
Our mission
Live, two-way interpretation on the phones and devices your staff already use — with transcripts, industry-specific notes, and a one-tap handoff to your own interpreters. We start where the need is sharpest — the languages and moments general AI gets wrong — and we hold the line on doing it responsibly.
Dignity first
Being understood in a clinic, a school, or a support call is a matter of dignity. We build for the person on the other end of the line.
Augment, never replace
Qualified human interpreters are irreplaceable — and they're yours, not ours. Veyatia carries the routine and routes to your own interpreters for the moments that matter most.
Earn the trust
We hold ourselves to honest claims, ephemeral data, and provable deletion — because the stakes are people's health and privacy.
